aside from having a horrible night's sleep where i got absolutely no rest, today has been a rather good day. my first class only lasted about 5 minutes because my professor is stupid and forgot his teaching material at his house which is like 45 minutes away, so he had nothing to teach us. which was awesome. finished classes at noon and then had a really pleasant lunch with taylor, then we were joined by kyle, and then gabe as well. it was quite enjoyable. good times all around.
then i laid down to take a short nap, which turned into a long nap, but i woke up well rested and that is a much better feeling than waking up at 8am feeling as if i hadn't slept at all. almost missed the off campus meeting though, well i did miss the meeting, but i caught the tail end just in time to get an application for my extra semester that i have to spend in this godforsaken hell hole.
1. it's going to take me 4 1/2 years to finish college, but i will still only be 22 when i graduate, so i am ok with it.
2. i drink way too much coffee, and sometimes it makes me really hyper and i say really really ridiculous things.
3. i enjoy taking photographs a lot. i love capturing the moment where things seem so perfect in their own way.
4. i like drawing. i wanted to go into illustration, and would still love to end up illustrating children's books someday.
5. i have 5 tattoos. some people don't see me as the tattoo type, but they're personal to me, so it doesn't really bother me.
5. i smoke cigarettes. i'll quit when i want to.
6. i come to the southside diner probably at least 4 times a week. the waitress doesn't need to take my order because she already knows.
7. i love sushi. it is probably one of my most favorite foods in this world, i could eat it everyday.
8. when i was in 7th grade, i got hit in the head with a hockey puck. i have a little bald spot in my hair from the scar.
9. i love beer. going to the heorot and trying new beers is something i really like a lot.
10. i listen to music at every waking minute of the day. my favorite band/song changes daily.
11. going to see david byrne with my dad is a memory that i will hold dear for the rest of my life.
12. when i was little, my grandpa used to be my babysitter, and we'd watch david the gnome and then take a nap.
13. i'm afraid of how my friendships will change after college.
14. i miss my best friend like crazy. i have yet to find another person who understands me like she does.
15. i love driving and going on road trips. i wish i had the means to do it more.
16. i love my dog more than just about anything in my life. he's old and i hope that he never dies.
17. i used to love the snow, but after multiple years of having a car that sucks driving in it, i've adapted a bit of hatred for it.
18. i find extremely vulgar things to be ridiculously funny. anything related to vaginas is hilarious.
19. i used to work in a chocolate factory. one of the worst summers of my life.
20. i can go from snoop dogg to the b-52's in a matter of 3 song changes.
21. when i was 16 i got in trouble for being out past city curfew with my best friend, all because we wanted to eat pancakes.
22. now that i'm older, i wish that my brother and i were closer and it's sad that we can't become closer because of distance.
23. despite the stereotypical 80's stigma, i will always love the smiths.
24. i wish that i was living in the 40's or the 60's. i think i would fit in better there than i do in the present day.
