where the wild things are

after approximately a week at home, i am officially ready to return back to indiana. being back in akron has little to no advantages. within an hour of returning to the rubber capital of the world, i had it out with my mother, starting off my summer with a bang, literally.

to help myself survive, i went up to see my dearest gabe on friday. it was a much needed visit, even though it had only been like four days since i had last seen her. we went to the park and drank some delicious leinenkugel's and had beautiful conversation. followed by a jaunt around the river. we also enjoyed some absolutely fantastic great lakes grassroots ale while lounging on the porch and chatting with trish. all in all just a delightful time spent.

also went to see a few movies with my mom. disney/pixar's UP was just absolutely fantastic! it was just so adorable, i want to watch it over and over. also saw the night at the museum smithsonian movie, which was amusing. so not a completely horrible weekend.
